We are thrilled to share with you the highlights of the prestigious Premier’s NSW Export Awards 2023, which took place at the International Convention Centre. This remarkable event celebrated the resilience and achievements of NSW exporters in the international market, showcasing businesses from every region across the state.
This year’s awards program held a special significance as it commemorated the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Australia. It served as a testament to the strong ties between the two nations and highlighted the numerous opportunities for collaboration between Australian and Vietnamese businesses. The strategic partnership between NSW and Ho Chi Minh City province in Vietnam was also celebrated, aiming to boost trade, investment, and deepen bilateral ties.
During the event, NSW Premier Chris Minns delivered a speech emphasising the need to foster entrepreneurial growth in Australia. Recognising the evolving landscape and the importance of sustainable industries, he highlighted the belief that our 55 billion dollar coal industry will need to be replaced within 10 to 15 years. This underscores the significance of supporting and nurturing innovative businesses in our country.
