Since its inception, SapphireOne has been committed to providing comprehensive and accessible product documentation. Initially managed in PDF format, our documentation has undergone significant transformation to become the dynamic, search engine-optimised Knowledge Base it is today. This evolution has not only enhanced our clients’ experience but also revolutionised our internal processes and AI support models.

The Journey from PDF to Web

In February 2019, SapphireOne made the strategic decision to transition our documentation online, setting aside concerns about intellectual property. Initially, we opted to build a static HTML website. However, after several months, we recognised the need for a more dynamic solution and decided to effectively start anew. This pivot was driven by the necessity to , enhance collaboration thereby ultimately accelerate progress, and improve accessibility and SEO optimisation.

Today, our Knowledge Base features close to 800 articles and continues to grow, serving as an invaluable resource for both clients and our team. While many of the articles have been refactored multiple times, they still reflect the foundational documentation and established principles from our earliest iterations, dating back to 1986.
